In January 2019, Kardham Toulouse won the competition for the extension of Carcassonne Airport, with a total surface area of 5,300 m².
Consultations with companies will start with a delivery target at the end of 2021. Connected to the existing airport through a new connecting gallery, this extension involves the creation of a jetty to accommodate 4 aircraft stations and a room. baggage delivery.
The largely glazed connecting gallery is designed as a walkway / bridge to span the maneuvering area and allows future extension work to be preserved.
