Prize "Occitanie Tower", postal sorting competition at Matabiau - Toulouse station

The Compagnie de Phalsbourg, Daniel Libeskind, Kardham Architecture, won the competition. Inspired by the Canal du Midi, this 150 m green tower in the city center of Toulouse, of around 30,000 m², will offer a mixed program on 40 levels - 11,000 m² of offices, more than 100 high-end housing, a panoramic restaurant and bar, a 4-star hotel, 2,000 m² of shops and 1,500 m² of SNCF premises. An unprecedented urban signal in the Toulouse sky.

Jean-Luc Moudenc, Mayor of Toulouse, and Benoît Quignon, Managing Director of SNCF Immobilier, unveiled the project on March 15 at MIPIM on the SO Toulouse stand. The consultation of this first Toulouse tower was launched in October 2016 by SNCF Immobilier, Toulouse Métropole and Europolia as part of the Toulouse Euro Sud-Ouest urban redevelopment program.

The team expected to build the "Occitanie Tower" should deliver this construction in 2021-2022.
