An urban architectural project – the expansion and modernisation of the Clinique Pasteur meets the expectations strongly expressed by the establishment: to consolidate its position of excellence in cardiology on a European scale and to stay in the city centre rather than relocate to the outskirts, by offering a second life to its existing buildings connected to each other by a new building: “Passerelle”. The glass façade with its changing reflections affirms this renewed ambition for leadership and harmonizes old and new buildings. Going beyond urban constraints, this extension provides an omnipresent light to its users, breathing new dynamism and legibility into a disparate neighbourhood.
