The B612 is named after the Little Prince’s asteroid : the Toulouse metropolis is seeking to create a first-class international centre in the field of AESE (Aeronautics, Space and Embedded Systems). The B612 is the flagship in terms of size, structure and functions. In particular, it will house the headquarters of the Aerospace Valley competitiveness hub (created in 2005 by the Aquitaine and Midi-Pyrénées regions and acknowledged by the State), but also ESSP (a company specialising in computerised aircraft landing control), and the AESE technological research institute in Toulouse.
